The north end — Kahekili Beach, where the Mahana sits — is about 1.8 miles up the coast from Whalers Village: a 40-minute walk along the beach path or a 5–10-minute drive, and a different world: far fewer people, a reef with resident turtles right offshore, and condos where you get a lanai, a kitchen, and a beach where you can still find a spot at 10am. Beyond it, Honokōwai and Kahana run up the coast toward Nāpili and Kapalua.
